The Power Of Community Life

Our community teaches us lessons for a lifetime. 

Growing up, I was actively involved in church-related events and activities. I enjoyed volunteering and taking up responsibilities. This played a huge role in giving me confidence and creating opportunities for growth. 

I now sing for choirs, play football when I get the chance and have meetups/calls with friends a few times a week. I also connect with people who I constantly learn something new from. The more I surround myself with like-minded people, the greater my chance of achieving my goals. 

Being a part of these communities has always given me something to look forward to. I meet people from various walks of life and get to learn more about our society. It also gives me the chance to learn from the experiences of others.

When it comes to investing our time and energy in community life, it’s advisable to commit to one where people share common goals and values. With this as the foundation, each member can share his or her ideas in carrying forward the mission of the community. Be it a community that is service-minded, a group of musicians, or a book club.

When two or more individuals come together for a cause, there is an incredible energy that is brought in. 

We are creators, and the best way to unleash our creative side is through involvement in community building. This way we magnify our impact on society and change the world, one community at a time. 

To find our group, we must involve ourselves in doing interesting things and sharing our work with the world. Maybe organize an event, go to a book fest or sports tournament, engage in blogging, attend seminars and courses, or start a Youtube channel. But, start somewhere. The possibilities that open up are incredible.
