Having clarity is key to staying on the path we create for ourselves. Without clarity, we feel lost and overwhelmed by the complexities of life.
For a long time, my mind was totally fogged up by anxious thoughts. At that point, the only clarity I had was to just keep swimming.
When you just keep going despite the adversity you’re facing, you begin to see the light.
Even when things started to get worse, there was one strong desire in me - to get better no matter what it took. At the time, this involved meditation and keeping my social life active.
If we look closely, there’s always something there that tells us what to do next.
With the belief that life is happening for me and not to me, I persevered. I knew that I had to step it up and have a system of health-enhancing habits in place. This is when my brother helped me set up Project 52. Sticking by the habits I have now has decreased the brain fog.
Things are now slowly falling in place.
It is never a bad thing to get help from others. However strong or independent we think we are, there’s always a helping hand to make life easier for us. I found that to a large extent in my brother.
To gain further clarity and perspective in my life, I have been helped by therapists, dear friends, books, writing, and highly influential people. Having clarity that is as good as the clear blue sky can be challenging, but it isn’t impossible.
When you have a fire inside of you that is strong enough, clarity will follow. Keep listening.

Nice article Dheeraj! We've been made to believe seeking help makes one less independent and I'm guilty of this too. You rightfully brought attention to seeking help and I think it's important for us to leverage our network and their learning to help us grow. Growth does not happen in a siloed environment.
