Vitality Is The Way Of Life
The word Vitality fascinates me.
"A vital person is someone whose aliveness and spirit are expressed not only in personal productivity and activity-such individuals often infectiously energize those with whom they come into contact." (source)
Having vitality means living with aliveness, enthusiasm, and energy. It is about our approach to life and is not dependent on the cards we’re dealt with.
Wouldn’t it be great to be in the proximity of such individuals?
Being a vital person is always a work in progress. For there is no limit to the amount of energy one can have. Building ourselves to live as vital beings is our responsibility and we have to own up to it.
Imagine the possibilities that could open up for us and our loved ones if our vitality kept growing every day? Imagine what we would be able to accomplish as a community!
What Role Does Vitality Play In My Life?
Currently, there are patterns of being that are working against me, slowing me down from being the best version of myself. However, my goal is set - expressing myself with energy, power, and freedom. The direction that I am heading in is clear. Now it’s simply about the habits I engage in to be that person. It’s a muscle that is getting trained. And I’m happy to tell you that... there’s progress.
Having vitality is something I value deeply. The main reason for this is that I love writing, singing, reading, taking up leadership, playing football, being of service, having long meaningful conversations, travelling. And I need vitality to do these things.
Without vitality, these activities won’t give me happiness and fulfilment. Having vitality means I approach these tasks with aliveness and enthusiasm — full of spirit and grace. This is the person I am building myself to be.
When there’s a chance to experience more in life, why not take it? If that means stepping up and raising our standards, it’s about time. An extraordinary life awaits!
